So, you want to learn to play the….?

The cost of lessons is $15.00 per lesson. However, Jim requires that the student pay for 4 lessons in advance. It breaks down to a month of lessons for $60.00. He also requires a 24 hour notice of being absent from the scheduled lesson time to prevent being charged for a lesson.

The lesson lasts at least 30 minutes, and time will be permitted for the student to warm up and get focused before the actual lesson begins. Usual time over all is approximately 40 minutes. No matter what instrument you might select from the above offerings, you will be taught to become musically literate, that is, taught to read standard treble clef notation and given further information on the principles of Music Theory and Harmony, sight reading and arranging tunes for your instrument.

The exception to the above is the 5 string banjo. Nearly all the literature available for the 5 string is in tablature, so the student will learn how to read banjo tab right from the beginning.
